Is there really has a gap between the old and a new learner? How would you say so? And what is this gap? Gap- it is only a difference in attitudes between people of different generations. For instances, simple things like the manner of dressing , socializing, more intimate relationship like friendship and marrying, etc. still some old things are difficult to overcome, because it is still existing like pre-arranged marriage in china, female circumcision in Africa, etc. even in Education there are still gap between traditional schooling to modern schooling. In some countries schools don’t have technology facilities, that it is understandable that the innovation of digital education may take time. But given the rapid emergence of digital technology at times referred to (ICT) Information Communication Technology there is the need to prepare for bridging the digital gap in the society.
As we discussed in this chapter there are four types of learners but as time goes by it is became five, first one is Veteran Generation – they are born between 1925-1945 the economic and political uncertainty that they experienced led them to be hard working, financially conservative and cautious. They do not like changes, they set and obey rules. Second is the Baby Boomers – they were born between 1946-1964, they were brought up in an abundant becoming an egocentric generation, they saw the world revolving around them. Third is Generation X – they were born between 1965-1980, they were first generation raised on “ to do lists” and grew up with high rate of blended families. They were brought in the shadow of the influential boomer generation. They work to live and view the world with cynicism and distrust. The fourth is Generation Y – they were born on 1981-2000, they portrayed as the next big generation the powerful group the first group to grow up with computers and the internet as a significant part of their lives. And lastly, the Generation Z – they were born 2000 and above they are the new develop generation that is more attached in using computers.
In this lesson we are able to interview, each one generation and present it in the class by grouped. It is one of our activities to know what is the different generation’s opinion about the new changing world.

Since the new generations are expected to face a future professional challenge of a digital world ahead of them, technology supported skills need to be taught in schools today, or else schools will become a white elephant. That’s why k-12 curriculum is very helpful it is a prolonged educational that allows the students to learn more advanced subjects and become familiar with technologies.
More knowledge, more fun!
